Answer: The cost of our program depends upon how long you would like to have access to our tools and services. You can sign up for as short as one week, or as long as 6 months. To review the current costs click on any Get It Now button, and the current rates will be shown. You can then hit the BACK button to return to this page. Our prices go up based upon when and how many additional materials and tools are added.
How can you keep your prices so low while offering so much?
Answer: RDSTUDY.com has a very minimal staff, and most of our intense coding is out-sourced. Our site has already help many individuals pass the exam, but we are relentless in our efforts towards continuous improvement. The CDR is always adapting the test to changes in practice and we do our best to keep the pace as well! So as we refine or add more questions, videos, and other tools, our prices gradually increase.
I purchased your service while finishing up school. Now my internship is requiring me to pay for the service as part of its curriculum. Can I get a refund?
Answer: YES! We will gladly refund any prorated portion of your account. There are additional procedures that need to be followed, such as payment first from your internship etc. Please contact us for all the details.
When in practice mode, sometimes I notice that the timer skips time between questions, so I lose a minute or two. It only happens when the message box pops up telling me that I need to move on, for I am spending too much time on one question. What is happening?
Answer: When the message box pops up stating that you need to move on, the internal counter continues to keep track of time, but the counter associated with that question is paused. When the message box is closed, the timer for that question starts up again, but it is now behind the true internal counter by the number of seconds that the box was displayed. Thus when you advance to the next question, the internal counter or the true time left is now once again shown.
When in practice mode sometimes I notice that the timer stalls between questions, so I see the same second that was there when I clicked next question. What is happening?
Answer: When the next question button is clicked, the timer stops. This prevents unnecessary time ticking off the clock as the server sends the next question. Once the next question is loaded, the timer starts back up.
Why doesn't the site have a large amount of material to review prior to being able to take the customizable tests?
Answer: The design logic of this site is opposite of most conventional methods of study reviews. You test yourself on the material and you only review information when you need to. If you need further information regarding a topic, it is right there - easy access. Less time wasted, more time building your skills and confidence.
Why isn't the site affiliated with the actual test designing authorities, do the other study guides have any affiliation?
Answer: We are unaware of any test preparation site or service that has received any type of endorsement from or has any affiliation with the credentialing agency (CDR). You can inquire with the particular service, but you will probably hear the same response.
I have noticed some issues with the test, have a problem or I have a question about an answer. What do I do?
Answer: You can always call our customer service line at (813) 675-7544 between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday EST. Or if you prefer, you can send an email to email@example.com and explain the problem you are experiencing. We have worked very hard, and tested it thoroughly to remove any issues that you might have with the testing engine itself. Keep in mind that if you are on a shared network, or on a modem, your response time may be slower than if you are on a high speed connection (recommended). If your problem is related to a specific question, document the question number in your email - this will be the 4 digit number shown, and explain what your issue is. Please allow up to 24 hours for a response, although most responses are within 2 hours if not answered immediately.
How do you come up with the questions if you are not part of the organization that develops the test?
Answer: As with all of the other study aides, seminars and guides out there, questions are developed based upon the expectations of what an entry level dietitian would need to know. Using references as outlined by the Commission on Dietetic Registration which is the organization that develops the RD test, we meticulously scour through each of the books as well as materials that are similar in subject matter to ensure that the questions we present will be helpful to you in preparing for the test as well as for your first job as an RD. We provide the reasoning behind why the answers are correct to help you apply the material in different situations. So one question maybe able to help you answer more than one question on the real test.
When I take a bunch of tests, sometimes I see some of the same questions, or many times the are similar, why?
Answer: The tests are dynamically created each time a test is taken, so naturally there will occasionally be some duplication of questions, depending upon the number of tests you take. The similarity between questions is intentional. Studies show that memorization of questions in hopes of seeing them on the CDR exam yields very poor results. We want you to understand the underlying concepts of the questions and not to simply memorize answers.
